Reference and Information services 
If you have any inquiries or need any assistance in using library collections, you can consult any of our staff. They can advise you on the availability of library resources and suggest appropriate library services. 
Discussion Room 
We provide a room for group discussion. A group must comprise a minimum of 3 persons to be eligible to use this facility. Please contact our Circulation Desk for inquiry or reservation.
Audio Visual Room 
The audio visual room is located at the Ibn Khaldun Library 2. Users may request to use this room. Please contact our Circulation Desk for reservation 
A photocopier is installed in the library for patrons’ convenience. A Photostat machine placed near the circulation counter. Charge is 10 cents per page. Please contact staff on duty.
A scanner is installed in the library for patrons’ convenience. A scanner machine placed near computer that used for printing. Charge is 30 cents per page. Users have to do it. Please contact staff on duty for guidance.
A printer is installed in the library for patrons’ convenience. Charges is 20 cents per page for the black color. Printing color may charges within 50 cents to RM2.00 per page.
Online Catalog [WebOPAC]
The KOHA Library system provides an Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC). Through OPAC, patrons are able to browse the Ibn Khaldun Library’s holdings. Search can be done by title, author, subjects, or keywords.
Internet Access
Several personal computers are provided to allow for internet access. However, they may not be enough for everyone. Patrons are encouraged to bring their laptops for the wireless access (WiFi).
Locker Rental
To safeguard your personal belongings against unfortunate incidents, we have provided lockers for rent. These lockers are located near the library entrance, level 3 and level 4 in the Block A. The rental rate is RM5.00 and extra RM5.00 as a deposit. The duration of rental is one semester. Students have to return the locker key to the library before the end of the semester. Students who fail to return the locker key, the deposit not refundable. Please contact our Circulation Desk for locker rental or inquiry.
Library Orientation
Every new student is advised to attend library orientation as scheduled by the Orientation Committee. Sessions are conducted according to academic programs. After the session, students are expected to be familiar with the library’s collections, services, and policies. But, if you feel you need more guidance or personal coaching in getting your way around searching for materials in the library or using the e-databases, please contact any library staff on duty. We are here to assist you.
